Biography

Steven Azzolini is a graduate of Boston College (BA) and Seton Hall Law School earning his J.D. in 1989 and was admitted to practice law in the State and Federal Courts of New Jersey in the same year. After graduation he served as Law Clerk to Bergen County Presiding Judge Peter Ciolino. After working at a midsize litigation firm for five years, Steven opened a general law practice in 1994. In 1999, he moved his practice to Florham Park and partnered with Thomas Benedetti. For the last 17 years Steven has concentrated his practice in the fields of land use development, residential and commercial real estate and small business sales and purchases. He has appeared before Zoning and Planning Boards for variances, site plan approvals, site plan waivers and subdivisions in Florham Park, Madison, Chatham, Morris Township, Randolph, East Hanover, Rutherford, Colts Neck, Millburn, and Brick Township. He is also currently serving as the Borough of Wharton Planning Board attorney.

Steven’s expertise also extends to the sale and purchase of residential and commercial properties. He has conducted over a thousand successful transactions. In addition, serving as Bank counsel handling asset based commercial loan transactions for several small community banks over the last 17 years, provides clients another layer of expertise in the purchasing and financing of commercial property transactions. Most importantly, Steven’s main focus is providing clients with competent legal assistance in a personal and professional manner while always listening to the needs of the client.

Steven currently lives in Madison, NJ with his wife and three children.
